For years, Davidsons has been a downtown Roanoke institution: a fine men’s clothier, its flagship store a hallmark of Jefferson Street. The building is now under renovation: the ground floor being completed remodeled for the store with beautiful, spacious living units planned for the remainder of the building.
The sand-colored brick building was constructed in 1915 and is being renovated to the standards of the Secretary of the Interior, utilizing Virginia Historic Tax Credits.
