Waldvogel Commercial Properties Aids Virginia Community Capital in Building Purchase

Waldvogel Commercial Properties represented Virginia Community Capital, Inc. in the purchase of an office building at 110 Marshall Drive in Christiansburg. The 7,000-square-foot building was vacant at the time of the purchase, but had served as the New River Valley Bureau for The Roanoke Times. Michael Waldvogel, CCIM, SIOR, and Krista Vannoy, CCIM, represented VCC in the transaction.

“As an organization dedicated to community development and revitalization, we saw the purchase of the former Roanoke Times New River Valley Bureau as a great opportunity to honor our commitment to community development by renovating an existing structure that had been vacant for some time, while also demonstrating our commitment to a local presence in southwest Virginia,” said Clyde Cornett, Chief Financial Officer of VCC.

“We are pleased to have assisted VCC in finding an existing building that allows them to continue their commitment to the community,” said Waldvogel.
